How to Log a Ticket (Issues, Cyber Security, and Service Requests)

Whether you need to report an IT problem, flag a cyber security concern, or request a new service or product, logging a ticket in the support portal is quick and easy. This guide will walk you through the process step by step.

Step by Step Instructions:

Step 1: Access the Support Portal

Go to https://helpdesk.atlanticdigital.com.au/portal/ and log in using your usual Microsoft Single Sign On (SSO) credentials.

Step 2: Choose the Right Option

On the homepage, you’ll see two main buttons for creating tickets:

  • Report an Issue – For IT problems or cyber security concerns (e.g., phishing, suspicious emails, hardware faults).
  • Make a Request – For requesting services, hardware, software, or access changes.

Step 3: Fill in Your Details

Depending on what you select:

  • Report an Issue:

    • Enter a clear Summary of the problem.
    • Add a detailed Description (include steps taken, error messages, or symptoms).
    • (Optional) Provide your contact number.
    • Attach screenshots or files if helpful.
    • For cyber security concerns, mention “Security” or “Phishing” in the summary and attach evidence.
  • Make a Request:

    • Select the appropriate category (e.g., Software, Hardware, Access Requests).
    • Provide all required details (e.g., software name, version, reason for request).
    • Attach supporting documents if needed.
